इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल (आईसीसी) ने शनिवार सुबह पुष्टि की कि पंड्या विश्व कप से बाहर हो गए हैं। हार्दिक पंड्या जिन्हें विश्व कप से पहले उप-कप्तान नियुक्त किया गया था, बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ मैच के दौरान चोट लगने के बाद कई मैचों में पंड्या बाहर रहे हैं। लेकिन अब पंड्या के बाकी टूर्नामेंट से बाहर होने के कारण, मुख्य चयन समिति ने के एल राहुल को रोहित शर्मा के डिप्टी के रूप में चयनित करने का फैसला किया।
